You bet there is and your car loves it. Motor oil is the most important single thing to consider when it comes to looking after your car and making the engine’s life as long as possible. When the car is not running the oil sits in the oil pan, also known as the sump, underneath the engine. But when you start the car up an oil pump begins to force the oil around the engine where is does several essential tasks. (If there’s a problem with the pump, oil level or oil pressure sensor you’ll know because the oil pressure gauge lamp will come on).
First, imagine the heat, pressure and force exerted inside the engine. Moving parts like pistons inside cylinders and bearings around the crankshaft work under incredible strain. Oil lubricates these parts by providing a cushioning layer between the metal surfaces. This stops them coming into direct contact with each other and therefore prevents damage. As the oil runs off the engine parts it collects in the oil pan underneath the engine where the flow of air underneath the car helps cool it. In this way the oil assist cooling the engine but this is hot enough on it’s own and separate cooling system is needed.
We can see how important oil is but it also cleans and protects the engine from corrosion. Over time muck accumulates in the engine. Gunky black slime forms and starts to coat the metals. Oil contains detergents that clean away this slime and reduce its formation in the first place. The slime has nowhere to go once it’s been removed so it stays suspended in the oil. That’s why new motor oil is semi-transparent and almost amber in color and older oil, that’s been hard at work cleaning and lubricating an engine for thousands of miles is black. Most of the time we automatically associate motor oil with being black but that’s only because it is old and used. New oil can definitely be considered clean and has a beautiful color and consistency that makes working with it a joy! Visit the Oil Pressuge Gauge Guide blog, for more information about the entire oil system.

When it comes right down to it, it does not matter how much power your machine has if it cannot get the power to the ground. Stock tires on an ATV are built to be used on the trails or flat terrain by the average rider. Once you step outside of that circle you need to have a tire that is going to give you the traction and the strength it takes to keep you going when the going gets tough. A set of RZR tires mounted on a set of Baja Cripplers will keep you going when the turbo is screaming and the mud gets so deep you are worried about having to swim out of it. The first ATV tires used were a balloon tire that gave the machine a soft bouncy ride and let the lightweight machine more or less float across the mud and made trail riding a cushy ride for everyone. Today tires are much heavier and run low pressures like 10 p.s.i. or less.
The tread patterns are varied and designed for particular uses. Polaris RZR Tires echo these ideas with a full range of trail, cross and sand dune tires. Polaris RZR Tires for the trail include the Carlisle All Trail which is designed primarily for those who like to stick to the hard pack trails and the pavement. They are the ideal tire for a working ATV that gets used around the construction site or to run security in places like airports and large warehouses. These tires feature a closer tread pattern to give the rider a smoother quieter ride and greater overall control on the pavement. If you are lucky enough to have a playground full of sand dunes you are going to need a set of Polaris RZR Tires that have been created just for this purpose. Tires that are designed for the sand dunes feature a lightweight carcass to provide excellent floatation to help keep you up on top of the sand. TH dual depth paddles give you aggressive traction that will launch you over the top of any sand dune while allowing you to maintain control throughout the ride.
When it comes time to play in the mud you need a tire that has deep lugs that are designed to be self cleaning, this way the mud gets flung out every time the tire rotates and gives you a good clean bite every time. The deep lugs not only help you to gain that extra traction you need but help to protect your Polaris RZR Tires from the rocks and twigs that are down in the mud and keep you from getting a flat tire. No matter what kind of Polaris RZR Tiresyou are looking for you will find a wide selection at Polaris RZR Headquarters. They carry a full line of performance tires and parts made exclusively for your Polaris ATV. Here you will find tires, wheels and chassis parts that can turn you mild mannered ATV into a mudslinging fun machine that will give you hours of unparalleled enjoyment no matter what kind of riding you do at a price you can afford.

For any motorized vehicle you will need to have appropriate braking power to keep the machine under control. Once you reach high speeds with a heavy vehicle, it will demand a lot of grip from the tires, but also it will require the brakes to be fully operational and have excellent power. Even with a strong brake lining and powerful compressors you won’t acheve a good brake performance, unless the discs and the brake pads are of a high quality. You will need to have friction and also durability. With a car, you will get four tires, and four brakes that all slow the vehicle down, but with a motorcycle you only have two wheels, and if you brake hard, the rear wheel is bound to get up from the ground, and this makes the performance on your motorcycle brake pads extremely important for safe driving.
If you are driving on the freeway a lot, and you are really rarely braking, it is not going to be so important, because there is always time for the discs and the pads to cool down – heat diminishes the performance of brake pads and discs. With normal metallic motorcycle brake pads you are bound to face heating problems if you are driving on a race track or any other place at a high speed, and hit the brakes often. Ceramic brake pads can take a lot more heat and for that reason you should choose this type of brake pads if you want to invest a little money in to the safety of your bike.
With the increased heat resistance, you will get more durability, and a safer bike. But also you will have to spend less time maintaining this, because the ceramic compounds that are used in break pads are durable, and unlike metallic pads they don’t produce dark dust that will get your wheels dirty. Instead, ceramic motorcycle brake pads produce a light clear dust when they wear out, and this doesn’t show on your wheels.

Is your white or light colored car looking as good as it could, probably not? A professional body man told me a long time ago that the lighter colors, especially gray, are the most forgiving colors to paint damaged cars that has been repaired or a cheap car that you’re having repainted. It seems that any imperfections in the body finish or in the paint finish its self is just harder to see with the light colored finish. Therefore it is easier to let your light colored car go longer between cleanups just because it does not look as bad or bad as quick as a darker color car.
So how do you keep your lighter color car in the best shape so that the finish lasts longer? One way is to put it on a scheduled maintenance. Get it washed on a weekly schedule. even if it does not look at all dirty it will still be collecting road grime and pollutants from the air that are just not showing up but they are there and they are not good for the paint so keep them washed off on a regular basis.
One of the best things that you can do is to have your paint sealed. This could have been done when the car was new, and a lot of dealers try to get this done, but it can also be done now. This sealant is a long lasting treatment that gives you a lot of protection from rod grime to bird droppings. Just wash the car and it looks like you just waxed it.
If sealing is out of reach financially or you just don’t want to get it done now then at least keep your car waxed. A good waxing will not last as long as sealer but it will help to keep your car protected. And it will give you the nice clean shiny look that you want on your car.

For people who have a passion for motorsports and surfing, the Chevy SSR suits their needs for storage and performance. Sports equipment and the like can be fitted at the back of the pickup, with its retractable roof protecting them from rain as well as other damaging conditions. Styled like a muscle car, the pickup is quite a sight. Its exterior sports a plethora of stylish contours, creating an edgy look, which a lot of youngsters and car collectors would love. It is available in dark red, dark yellow, and a host of other vibrant hues.
Inside, the 2006 Chevy Uplander had a two-tone color scheme with decent materials and a pleasing overall look. Lower-level Uplanders came with GM’s old-school modular seating in the second row, while the 2LT and 3LT were upgraded with fixed captain’s chairs. In the all-important minivan gizmo department, the Uplander had a few aces up its sleeve. An overhead rail system on the LT provided easy rear-seat access to climate and entertainment functions. The PhatNoise digital media system eliminated the hassle of shuffling through CDs and DVDs on road trips by providing a hard drive that could store music and movies.

With Chevrolet focusing on the aesthetics of its vehicles, the SSR pushes the envelope in its appearance. The SSR is a convertible, having a retractable cover at the roof. You can pull the cover down not only to make the truck look more attractive, but also to protect and hold down the things that it carries. Given its edgy look, the convertible pickup is stylish enough to be displayed at car and truck shows. Just install a few add-ons and the SSR will certainly be the apple of any pickup lover’s eye.
Though you can drive quickly in the chevy SSR truck, it might take longer to get anywhere, as people stop, stare, and ask you about it. We remember our first drive in the PT Cruiser being similar – but when the PT became a 120,000-vehicle-per-year success, the stares stopped. The SSR is still rare, and always will be, with production limited by the factory’s capacity (and sales limited by the rather steep price tag).

There are 3 basic things you should look at when you are shopping for tires on sale. These are general condition of the tires, the tire treads, and retread. This 3 factors work for used or cheap tires. When buying brand new tires, you don not have to worry about retread or even the general condition.
Thus, motorcycle tires for sale that are used must be bought with eyes wide open to make sure that you don’t get stuck with a lemon. In addition, it would be extremely unfortunate if you get into an accident because you failed to check the tires prior to paying for them. Try to get some kind of warranty on the tires for sale to make sure that you can go back to the seller in case of a problem.

If you come across cheap tires for sales, it would not make sense to buy just because it is cheap. First, you need to double check if you can actually use them. To do this, check what the recommended tire specifications are for your car, look for size and dimensions.
You should also do a detailed check on the cheap atv tire. It makes sense to double check the quality instead of rushing through the purchase and then regretting the expense after.
Quality cheap tires can be had if you look for tire dealers who are on sale. To do this, you could check with the tire manufacturer or company if they have any sale scheduled for the coming months.
Being able to buy brand new cheap tires is way better than getting used cheap tires. It may cost a little more, but you get the added security of having brand new tires.

My mom got me the most incredible little present this year for my birthday. It was a wonderful little accessory for my most precious cell phone/ pda combo: a BlackBerry Curve car charger. I am so thrilled to have this because this way I can charge my BlackBerry Curve when I’m in the car since I somehow never seem to remember to charge it overnight. I don’t know why, I guess I’m just a bit forgetful. But the best thing is that not only do I have this charger, but it’s pink! Just like my BlackBerry! My friends are going to be so jealous of me since I don’t know anyone else who has a pink charger. All the other one’s are such a boring black.
